Uma abordagem sobre o uso da hipermídia adaptativa em ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem

Adaptive Hypermedia Systems constitutes a recent research area that shows great application capacity for the development of Web Learning Environment. The system’s idea is to personalize or to adapt a Hypermedia System for users. Thus each user will have one determined vision of the content and the navigation structure, or either, the system tries to anticipate the user’s necessities and desires from models that represent its profile, level of knowledge and preferences. To reach these objectives an Adaptive Hypermedia System becomes a complex part of software that requires the technological brainstorming that leads biggest flexibility and proximity with the user’s objectives, professors and students in this case. The approach in this current work makes use of an agent’s society and finite automatons with output, in Adaptive Hypermedia Systems. A general architecture is proposal to intensify desirable pedagogical aspects in the environment, to get easiness in the use and reuse of the hypermedia didactic material, to reach greater flexibility in the elements control that compose the system and still facilitate the component elements modeling. The foreseen mechanism of adaptation functions integrated to the model of the user and is defined by production rules, which allows flexibility in the definition of the adaptability conditions.
